Robotics curriculum / engineering workbench
Three small experiments for reasoning about ROS 2 communication, telemetry timing, and arm geometry. Every result comes from the equations shown alongside it.

02 / timing contract
Hold the decision time fixed at 1,000 ms. Adjust the acquisition timestamp and acceptable age. Both timestamps must share the same clock domain.
Bar shows nonnegative age on a fixed 0–500 ms scale.
The queued-sample preset is 8 ms acquisition/encoding + 12 ms transport + 20 ms queueing + 35 ms inference = 75 ms. Measuring inference alone misses 40 ms of the path.
03 / planar geometry
A two-link arm in the x–y plane. Positive joint angles rotate counterclockwise. The second angle is relative to the first link, not the world.
